i'm addicted to soap
bought two more soaps on etsy...
don't they sound amazing???
note: i have a drawer full of soaps i bought in brazil + ireland + mexico + etsy.
i'm alternating btw 4 soaps right now honey + oatmeal, goat milk + pecan, lemon poppyseed, and natural glycerine. ;)
i just can't stop this soap addiction!

my first etsy purchase arrives!
the lovely soap i ordered from farmstead organics has just arrived and i'm hungry...
it's just so yummy i want to eat it.
i purchased the honey pecan goat milk soap and was given a sample of their lemon poppy seed.
both scents are wonderful. i could smell it before i opened my mailbox ;)
isn't the packaging too charming?

yesterday was a very nice day for me.
made my first etsy sale!
3 sets were sold (2 different buyers ;)!
packing them was a huge ordeal. i wanted to make it right. i spent so much time on it, you would laugh.
will post pictures this weekend of my first order packed up! ;)
this morning i shipped the packages and spent the rest of the day drawing and drawing and drawing.

when i found 'lines'...
i was in korea and i was absolutely bored (not that korea was boring me, i was just bored), so i bought the first sketchbook i found (which happened to have all those inspiring ;) quotes - read previous post), and started drawing my dreams.
it was the first time i used lines as the dominant technique to illustrate.
i was obsessed by lines ever since...

vintage doodles
so this is what i did in college. daydream + doodle.
i did get in trouble a lot for drawing caricatures of my teachers.
once, this odd, but interesting looking teacher caught me drawing him and he asked if the caricature did really look like him. i accidentally said: "better." i meant it the other way around, but oh well.
these are no caricatures, just doodles...
