... Taking baby steps.
Most BDB packing supplies are either recyclable, reusable or biodegradable. I've got a rubber stamp custom made to stamp the packing supplies just as a friendly reminder for the recipient.
When I receive a package, if it's filled with peanuts, I'll reuse them, same with bubble wraps. If filled with brown paper or newspaper, and it's decent enough to re-use, I'll re-use - otherwise it goes in the recycling bin. As for the box, I'll cut it into pieces to use them for my own packaging (double walls for the most fragile items or dividers).
Again, baby steps.

I do that as well, and reuse good envelopes. My only hope is that people won't think I'm cheap because I hate it when something could be put to better use instead of just tossing it away. Here's to hope!
