a little sleeping bird asleep on a tree branch. 

  the other day i was walking around talking on the phone with my mom and 

  saw this beautiful blossoming tree... spring. that inspired me to draw     one of my little sleeping birds on a tree branch with tiny little flowers   starting to bloom.

my first experience drawing on porcelain

i was in L.A. and decided i should start experimenting with my brand new porcelain paint! drew on two of my dad's bowls.

was so happy. baked + tested. i washed, scrubbed + rubbed and the art: still there! 

fyi: the paint i use is non toxic and food safe. just avoid sharp utensils and too much harsh scrubbing...

shhh series

the shhh series comes from my fascination with the positions in which people manage to sleep in when completely knackered. passed out. gone.

i've decided to romanticize the act by drawing little birds in such positions.
